
Meet Your Principal
Amy Romero began her educational career in the Yuma Elementary School District in 1994 as a sixth grade teacher. Mrs. Romero then spent the next 18 years working in the Camp Verde Unified School District. She served as a fifth grade teacher, sixth grade teacher, Native American Student Academic Coordinator, and Finance Coordinator. In 2012, Mrs. Romero joined the Cottonwood-Oak Creek School District and served as the International Baccalaureate Coordinator at Mountain View Preparatory. Following her time at Mountain View Preparatory, Mrs. Romero served as the English Learner Coordinator and Data Specialist for the district. Most recently, she serves as the campus administrator for Cottonwood Education Services.
Her educational experiences have afforded her the opportunity to collaborate with a diverse group of people to meet the common goal of increasing student achievement and well-being.
Mrs. Romero earned a Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training from the Point Loma Nazarene University in 1992. She earned a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University in 1996.
