Dear Cottonwood Education Services Families,

Welcome to an exciting new chapter at Cottonwood Education Services! As the Campus Administrator, I am honored to support the outstanding work happening across all our schools: Verde Tech High School, Kings Academy, Little Wings Preschool, and Mariposa Preschool. Each of these campuses plays a unique and vital role in serving our community and fostering student success.

At Verde Tech High School, we continue to innovate and excel. This year, students have the opportunity to participate in college courses through Arizona State University and Yavapai College, paving the way for their future academic and career endeavors. Our dedicated teachers are also engaged in Project Momentum training, working collaboratively to align standards across grade levels and enhance instructional practices. Last year,  Verde Tech’s AzSCI proficiency scores reached more than twice the state average. We are proud to celebrate Cottonwood Education Services A letter grade from the Arizona Department of Education, reflecting the hard work and dedication of our students and staff.

Kings Academy remains a pillar of support for our middle school students, offering an alternate placement environment designed to meet their unique needs. The school’s committed educator/counselor provide a strong academic foundation and personalized support to help each student thrive and return to their home campuses.

Our youngest learners at Little Wings and Mariposa Preschools benefit from nurturing, high-quality early childhood education. These programs lay the groundwork for lifelong learning, fostering curiosity and essential developmental skills in a safe and supportive setting.

Looking ahead, our focus remains on fostering a student-centered culture across all campuses. By supporting our educators, engaging our families, and prioritizing innovative practices, we aim to ensure that every student has access to the resources and opportunities they need to succeed. I encourage all families to stay connected and involved—whether by participating in school events, joining parent organizations, or maintaining open communication with teachers and staff.
