Cottonwood Oak Creek ESD Governing Board is pleased to announce it will be entering into contract negotiations with Mrs. Jessica Vocca, the principal of the district’s Dr. Daniel Bright Elementary School. She will replace Superintendent Steve King who is retiring and seeking election to the County School Superintendent seat in November 2024. Born in Cottonwood, Vocca has been with the district for more than 20 years. She has taught various grades, been a reading and culture specialist, and served as principal in Cottonwood and Dr. Daniel Bright Elementary Schools. She earned her Master's Degree in Education Administration from Grand Canyon University.
