Education Customized for You!
The Arizona iZone Institute is an Internet instructional program sponsored by Cottonwood-Oak Creek School District in partnership with Mesa Public Schools. Courses are available for kindergarten through twelfth grade. Distance learning is a state-of-the-art concept in education. The traditional classroom is replaced by online instructors who stay in regular contact with students to promote success. The curriculum is interactive and motivating for students. AiI courses are written by certified teachers and are aligned to state and national standards.
Arizona distance learning students are required to participate in state testing.

Arizona iZone Institute’s K-6 Online Program provides self-paced, engaging learning through interactive, project-based activities that promote exploration, problem solving, reflection, and real-world connections. Students being schooled at home anywhere in Arizona may register free of charge. K-6 Online is a member of the Cottonwood-Oak Creek Public Schools.

Kindergarten
The kindergarten online program offers an integrated curriculum that includes language arts and math activities, as well as art, science and social studies content. Average students will spend up to one hour daily doing online activities. In addition, they will spend one more hour working on other activities that include, workbooks, paper and pencil tasks, manipulatives and other activities, as recommended by the pacing schedule directions or the online teacher.

1st Grade
The first grade online program offers a reading and language arts curriculum, and a math curriculum. Average students will spend two hours daily completing reading and language arts activities, and one hour daily completing math activities. 50-70% of the activities will be online, and in addition, they will spend time working on other activities that include, workbooks, paper and pencil tasks, manipulatives and other activities, as recommended by the pacing schedule directions or the online teacher.

2nd Grade
The second grade online program offers a reading and language arts curriculum, and a math curriculum. Average students will spend two hours daily completing reading and language arts activities, and one hour daily completing math activities. 50-70% of the activities will be online, and in addition, they will spend time working on other activities that include, workbooks, paper and pencil tasks, manipulatives and other activities, as recommended by the pacing schedule directions or the online teacher.

3rd Grade

Fourth Grade
The fourth grade online program offers a reading and language arts curriculum, a math curriculum, and both a science, and a social studies curriculum.
